Report: Barcelona want De Ligt

Agent Mino Raiola has reportedly talked to Barcelona patron Joan Laporta, who is interested in Juventus defender Matthijs de Ligt.

The Blaugrana have been linked with Erling Braut Haaland in recent weeks, but that’s reportedly not the only client of Raiola who is on Laporta’s radar.

The new President spoke to Raiola, according to El Chiringuito, about a possible move for De Ligt, as he wants to give coach Ronald Koeman two new centre-backs.

The report claims Barcelona target De Ligt and Eric Garcia, who seems set to leave Manchester City this summer.

Reports in Italy have claimed Juventus are not willing to listen to offers for the Dutch centre-half, predicting a bright future for the former Ajax defender at the Allianz Stadium.
